Industry: commercial refrigeration and HVAC

CNC machined valve bodies and fittings for commercial refrigeration

Commercial refrigeration needs brass, stainless, and copper-alloy valve bodies, headers, and threaded fittings machined to seal-tight tolerances with clean internal surfaces. Boyang supplies CNC-turned and milled refrigeration components with batch traceability and standard thread gauges.

Boyang machines brass, stainless, and copper-alloy valve bodies, headers, and threaded fittings for commercial refrigeration and HVAC subsystems. Typical parts include expansion-valve bodies, solenoid-valve manifolds, header fittings, and flare-connect fittings. Internal passages are machined to drawing requirements; external threads follow BSP, NPT, or SAE per the customer’s standard.

Compliance: NSF/ANSI 61 (lead-free brass) is available by arrangement with the appropriate brass grade (C27450 / C36300). Standard brass grades contain lead and are not NSF 61 certified.

Typical parts and use cases

Part typeTypical requirement
Expansion-valve bodiesBrass CW617N (C36000 equivalent) or stainless; internal bore ±0.025 mm.
Solenoid-valve manifoldsMulti-port brass manifolds with NPT or BSP threads; pressure-test to spec.
Header fittings and distributorsCopper or brass; tube-connection ends machined to SAE flare or solder-cup dimensions.
Threaded adapter fittingsBrass or stainless; threads cut to BSP, NPT, or SAE J512.
Compressor mounting hardwareSteel or stainless; high-volume production.

Frequently asked questions

Can you supply lead-free brass valve bodies?

Yes, by arrangement. NSF/ANSI 61 lead-free brass (C27450 or C36300) is supplied with full mill certification.

What internal surface finish do you recommend for refrigerant passages?

Ra 1.6–3.2 (µm) is typical for machined bores. Tighter finishes (Ra 0.8) are achievable by arrangement with secondary honing or electropolishing.

Do you cut NPT, BSP, or SAE threads?

All three. Standard thread gauges (NPT, BSPT) are held in-house. Customer-supplied gauges are accepted by arrangement.

What is the minimum order quantity for a new refrigeration part?

For new parts, prototype runs of 20–100 pieces are routine. Production runs typically start at 200–500 pieces.

Can you pressure-test before shipment?

Yes. Hydrostatic and pneumatic leak-tests are available by arrangement; test pressure and acceptance criteria follow the customer specification.
