Quality control: 100% inspection before shipment

Every production run is inspected in full before it leaves the facility, using a documented standard inspection procedure. Inspection is not sampled, and the records travel with the shipment.

Inspection equipment

  • 3D coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
  • Optical projector
  • Vernier calipers
  • Height gauges

Documents supplied with a shipment

  • Dimensional inspection report against the drawing
  • Material certificate for the heat or lot used
  • First article inspection record for new parts
  • Certificates for outsourced finishes such as plating or anodising
Verification status Boyang Hardware operates a documented quality management system, and its Made-in-China storefront records ISO 9001 and RoHS. Certificate number and certification scope are supplied on request along with the quotation. We publish a claim only once it can be evidenced — see the verification record.

Choosing a manufacturing process

Four processes solve the same part in four different ways. The deciding factors are order quantity, geometry, material and how tight the critical dimensions are.

Common questions

The short answers are below. The full FAQ covers ordering, tolerances, materials, lead time, quality, shipping and payment in detail.

What tolerances can Boyang Hardware hold?

0.1 mm, 0.01 mm and 0.001 mm, depending on the feature and the process. Turning and milling on aluminium, brass and stainless steel routinely hold 0.01 mm; critical features such as bearing bores and sealing faces can be held to 0.001 mm with grinding or EDM. Call out which dimensions are critical on the drawing so the manufacturing route is planned around them.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no fixed minimum. Prototypes and small batches are accepted, from a few dozen pieces upward, and repeat production runs are quoted at the same time so the price curve is visible from the start. Annual production capacity is approximately 50,000 pieces.

How long does a quotation take, and what is the lead time?

Quotations are returned within 1–2 working days for drawings that are complete. Samples are typically delivered in 3–7 working days; mass production takes 8–30 working days depending on quantity, material and surface treatment.

Can you produce from a sample instead of a drawing?

Yes. Parts can be made from 2D or 3D drawings, or reverse-engineered from a physical sample where no drawing exists. A drawing-first route is preferred for anything with critical fits, because it lets tolerance stack-up be reviewed before cutting metal.

How are parts inspected?

100% inspection before shipment, including 100% visual inspection against a documented standard inspection procedure, with a 3D CMM, optical projector, vernier calipers and height gauges. A dimensional report and material certificate are supplied with the parts.

What are the shipping and payment terms?

Shipping terms include EXW, FOB, CIF, CNF, DDP and DDU. Payment is accepted by T/T, PayPal or Western Union. Parts ship by sea, air or express, packed in poly bags and cartons, with EPE foam or wooden case options for higher-value or fragile parts.
