Typical positional tolerance is ±0.02 mm on critical features and ±0.05 mm on bolt patterns. Tighter tolerances (±0.01 mm) are achievable by arrangement for small features with stable fixturing.
Do you provide anodised or hard-anodised robot parts?
Yes. Type II anodising (5–25 µm, decorative) and Type III hard anodising (25–75 µm, wear-resistant) are both available. Masking of sealing faces and tapped holes is done per drawing.
Can Boyang supply prototype volumes for cobots before mass production?
Yes. Prototype runs of 5–50 pieces are routine and use the same machines and operators as production. Lead time for prototypes is typically 7–14 days.
What surface finish do you recommend for gear-mating faces?
Ra 0.8 (µm) is the typical baseline. For high-precision gear alignment, Ra 0.4 is achievable by arrangement. Surface finish is always specified in the drawing.
